This is an editable pptx file, so you can change the words in the word bank according to your lesson. Students make their own word search, then swap sheets with a partner and solve each other’s word searches!
As an EFL teacher, I think this activity is ideal for EFL elementary grade 5 and 6, but really it can be used for any EFL/ESL/ELA lesson! The current word bank uses vocabulary from the YBM textbook Grade 5, Lesson 11 “Where is the Library?” It is designed as a half sheet on A4 paper, so you’ll have to cut the pages in half.
