About Sidewalk English

Sidewalk English is a free resource library for ESL/EFL/ELA teachers around the world, created to support teachers and reduce stress and prep time. It includes printable worksheets, interactive activities, PPTs, and more.

About the Creator:

Hi, I’m B. I’m an English teacher working in Korea, and I created Sidewalk English to share the worksheets and activities I have used in my own classroom.

I’ve found that many online teaching materials are trapped behind a paywall (which I think is evil unless it’s to support teachers) or simply don’t fit my personal design aesthetic, so I usually create my own materials.

Since I use the Korean YBM textbooks, most of the materials are well aligned with this curriculum, so my hope is that other teachers using YBM or any ESL teachers anywhere might find this site useful.

This is an ongoing project for me. I will do my best to keep adding new materials. If you have comments, suggestions, requests, or notice anything that could be improved, please let me know using the contact page!

Sidewalk Stories

Stories is the blog section of this site where I share the experiences and small discoveries that happen outside the classroom.

It’s the more personal side of Sidewalk English, where I write about everything from teaching insights and classroom anecdotes to language learning, life abroad, practical guides for living in Korea, travel recommendations, and the occasional story that doesn’t quite fit anywhere else.

If you’re just here for a quick worksheet download, feel free to skip past this section. Otherwise, I hope you’ll find something useful, interesting, or even a little familiar.
